June Adult League & JTT Captains of the Month
It's time to celebrate our June Captains of the Month! This month’s JTT Captain of the Month is Ashley Wilkinson, captaining out of Oxford. Ashley has been playing tennis in North Central since 2017 after not picking up a tennis racquet since she was 12.
“Debbie Swindoll agreed to give me 3 lessons in 2017 and I have been hitting with her nearly weekly since that day in 2017. Debbie also the one that taught my daughter and a majority of her teammates on JTT how to play tennis.”
This month’s Adult League Captain of the Month is Heather Biddle, captaining out of Jackson. Several years ago, Heather decided to attend a tennis drill with a few friends just for fun and before she knew it, she was asked to play on a 6.0 40+ Mixed team and the rest is history.
“I’ve captained many teams that have had great success throughout the seasons and some that have not. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is build a team with people you enjoy being around because winning comes and goes, but friendships last forever.”
