Alternative Leagues

USTA Mississippi and its body of CTA's around the state are teaming up to give our adult league players more options in the near future. Look for one of the following two "alternative leagues" to come to your area in the coming years:

Tri-Level League

A Tri-Level League would have a format similar to Combo, where each team would play three doubles matches. The difference is that each match will be played with a combination of players that are on the same NTRP level. For example, a team match might consist of a 2.5 match, a 3.0 match, and a 3.5 match where each player will play with someone at their level.

Singles Leagues

Currently, not many leagues for adults offer singles play. With a Team Singles League, everyone will get the benefit of playing singles while still getting the opportunity of play on a team. A Singles League would use a format of three singles matches, all at the same level.
